Conduits of universal energy
The Magi
The Magi draw the energy of the universe through themselves, then shape and direct it as Magic.
Study and control
Their practice develops through study, concentration, and command of external energy. Structure and regulation govern dangerous practices, though not everyone accepts the boundaries imposed by authority.
Knowledge and arrogance
The Magi’s confidence in their own system can cause them to underestimate powers that do not use Magic. Early belief practitioners were cataloged as rare aberrations rather than recognized as the beginnings of another significant force.
The question of Curse
An elite Battle Mage born under a prophecy, Curse became celebrated long before he understood what fulfilling his supposed destiny would require. His search for answers takes him beyond accepted teaching.
