A celebrated beginning
Curse advanced quickly, seeking lessons, battles, and experiments—including practices other Magi considered unsavory. Celebration eventually gave way to the expectation that he would fulfill his destiny.
The questions left unanswered
Unable to find a teacher for what the prophecy demanded, he withdrew from Magi society. Research and direct experience revealed gaps and contradictions in what he had been taught. A new clue eventually led him to take a disciple.
